Introduction to Machine Learning

Over two days with two seminars and two practicals, Anna Machens will take you through the basics of model fitting, paramater selection and hyperparameter tuning, ending up with a simple but effective predictive model. On Wednesday, Anna will give a guided overview of basic machine learning techniques. On Thursday we will dive deeper into the models, and have plenty of time for questions about your models for the datathon.
